Mini-Grants
OSEA's mini-grant program awards three OSEA members in each of the seven zones a grant of approximately $300 to be used for professional development such as inservice training, workshops or seminars.

Undergraduate Student Scholarship
The Undergraduate Student Scholarship is a scholarship program started by OSEA to provide assistance to college junior and seniors who are related to an OSEA member in good standing.

Union Plus (AFL/CIO)
Scholarships Available to Members and Children
Sponsored by the Union Plus Education Foundation, the scholarship is open to students attending or planning to attend a four-year college or university, a community college, or a technical college or trade school. Members of unions participating in any of the Union Plus programs, and their spouses and dependent children, are eligible. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $4,000; they are one-time cash awards sent to individual winners for undergraduate study beginning in the fall of the same year. Winners are chosen based on academic achievement and potential, character, leadership, social awareness, career goals and financial need.

American Federation of Teachers Robert G. Porter Scholars Program
This program offers four 4-year, $8,000 post-secondary scholarships to students who are dependents of AFT members, as well as 10 one-time $1,000 grants to AFT members to assist with their continuing education.

Lou Gerber Scholarship
OSEA sponsors two $1,000 scholarships for each of the seven zones in Oregon. These scholarships, known as Lou Gerber Scholarships, are for classified school employees who wish to further their education in an accredited school.

Guy Davis Scholarship
OSEA sponsors a scholarship for graduating high school seniors. At least one parent (including step-parent), grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, or legal gaurdian must be an OSEA member.
