Eugene Chapter 1 members voted 122 to 8 on Tuesday, September 4, to ratify a new 4-year contract that will expire in 2022.
Members cast their votes throughout the day at the Education Center and the Bus Shop.
Among the big wins in this contract was a 2.2% raise. The chapter also won an increase in the TSA contribution from 1.25% to 1.75%. The required employee contribution would also increase from 0.625% to 0.75%.
In addition, the bargaining team negotiated for guaranteed paid time for filling out necessary safety forms to report dangerous working conditions.
