Constitution & Standing Rules

The Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) Constitution contains the fundamental principles that govern the operation of our organization. The Constitution clarifies our purpose, defines our organizational structure and provides the foundation for an effective labor union.

While the Constitution covers fundamental principles, the Standing Rules establish the operating procedures by which OSEA functions. The Standing Rules detail the procedures we must follow to conduct business and provide further definitions to the articles of the Constitution.

The current Constitution and Standing Rules were adopted by delegates to the OSEA Conference in June 2016.
