MARK PETERSEN

Mark Petersen was born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado but grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1984, Mark moved to Portland with his wife, Brook. While living in Portland, Mark worked for Portland Community College as a media tech. Then, in 2000, they moved to Central Point where Mark began a job as a web development specialist for Rogue Community College. Mark became a member of OSEA and was elected chapter president in September 2005. When asked why he decided to run for Zone V director, Mark replied, “I recognized and knew OSEA was led by caring, committed individuals who sacrifice their time for all membership. I wanted to do my part to give where I could and make a difference.”
