Welcome to the new OSEA Chapter 1 Website. We have created a site that will provide our members with the most up to date information possible. Please take the time to visit and explore this new site. We have provided links to information about your OSEA Union, the Calendar of Events, your local Chapter By-Laws, your local Chapter Contract and a site for the most recent Chapter Meeting Minutes.

OSEA Chapter 1 is the second largest Chapter in the OSEA family statewide. I believe this creates a need for our Chapter to be looking for new and efficient ways to maintain our communications with one another and a direct link with our offices in Salem . I am pleased to say this new website has provided that link.

Our Chapter is fortunate to have a member who has stepped forward and agreed to be our web master. Ruth Mann, Ruth not only works for the Eugene School District, but she also has her own web design business outside of the district, so our chapter is honored to have Ruth volunteer her services to help maintain a professional looking website for our members here in Chapter 1.

If you have any ideas or suggestions about informational items for our website, please e-mail those suggestions to me ( jill@osea.org ), I will present those suggestions to the Executive Board for our Chapter. The Executive Board will be the guiding factor for our Chapter's content on its web page.
