Building Employee Representatives
An important part of your union representation
Have you ever had a workplace situationwhere you needed immediate union help?
Have you ever wanted to get a fast response to questions about your contract or workplace rights?
Have you ever wanted to help your union out by serving on a committee or getting involved in special union campaigns?
A building representative serves as a point of contact for
classified employees regarding contract questions,
representational issues and communicating with members.
The building representative helps to keep school and worksite employees informed about
what your union is doing.
Right now your union needs your help.We have too many schools and worksites that do not have building representatives.
It is important that all schools and worksites
have a building representative.
Schools and worksites that have no building representatives:
Aloha Huber Park, Barnes,Bethany, Jacob Wismer, Elmonica, Montclair, Rock Creek, Sexton Mtn.,Terra Linda, Vose, West TV, Meadow Park, Five Oaks, Merlo Station, Maintenance, Custodial Services, Print shop/mail, Human Resources, Teaching and Learning, Supt. office, Community involvement
You can help by signing up as a building representative.
Orientation, training and a resource book will be provided.
