Conference 2017 Review

OSEA’s 79th annual Conference was held on June 22 through June 24, 2017, at the Red Lion on the River (Jantzen Beach) in Portland. Delegates voted on resolutions, approved OSEA’s annual budget and elected state officers and zone directors.

A Memorable Conference Opening

Conference 2017 kicked off with revamped opening ceremonies that included comedian Sharon Lacey, a bigger-than-ever Parade of Banners, the crowning of a new OSEA Employee of the Year and a tribute to recently passed former OSEA President and Field Representative Leota Clark.
