Member of the Year Award

OSEA’s Member of the Year award honors outstanding service to education programs, communities and our union. This award promotes greater appreciation of education employees by highlighting one dedicated OSEA member each year. Nominations are due March 15.

Recipients of the Government Relations Member Advocate Award are recognized for their long history of participation and leadership in OSEA’s government relations programs and activities. Lifetime Membership Award

Lifetime membership is the highest award for service that OSEA can bestow upon individuals who are or have been active members of the association, who have provided outstanding service on a statewide basis, and who have displayed an ongoing commitment to OSEA, its members and to the ideals of the labor movement. Honorary Membership Award

Honorary membership recognizes former members or individuals who are ineligible for membership who have benefited our union on a statewide level. Use the application form below to nominate an OSEA champion for honorary membership. Nominations are due March 1.

Newsy Awards

The Newsy Awards are presented at Conference each year to acknowledge the excellent work OSEA chapters do to inform, educate and entertain their members. Awards honor best use of newsletters, websites and social media. To be considered nominate your chapters’ newsletter, website or social media electronically or with the printable form. Nominations are due by March 15.
