Worksite Organizer (WSO) Training
WSOs are the face of their chapter in the workplace – they welcome new hires, answer questions, share information and keep chapter officers informed about any workplace issues. As the first OSEA member a new employee may meet, WSOs make sure all bargaining unit members know about their union and contract, and invite employees to become OSEA members themselves. There should be at least one WSO in every building.

Treasurer Training
The chapter treasurer is the chief financial officer for the chapter. Treasurers have many responsibilities, including collaborating with the executive board to prepare the annual budget, managing bank accounts, receiving and depositing funds, paying bills, monitoring expenditures and maintaining financial records. This training will cover the basic job duties of a chapter treasurer as well as best practices and tools available for managing chapter finances.
