- The Lifetime Membership Award is OSEA’s highest honor and only bestowed on members who have provided outstanding service to our union and demonstrated an ongoing commitment to OSEA, our members and the ideals of the labor movement. Nominations are due March 1.
- The Honorary Membership Award is a way to recognize and celebrate former members or individuals who are not eligible for membership, who have benefited our union on a statewide level. Nominations are due March 1.
- The Member of the Year Award promotes greater appreciation of education employees by highlighting one outstanding OSEA member each year for their service to OSEA, their education program and their community. Nominations are due March 15.
- The Member Advocate of the Year Award recognizes members who help make our state a better place to live, work and learn through OSEA legislative advocacy activities. Nominations are due March 15.
- The Newsy Awards celebrate excellent chapter publications that inform, educate and entertain our members. Nominations are due March 15.
Education employees are often the unseen heroes of our schools and education programs, who do outstanding work without the recognition we deserve. But this is your chance to change that! Celebrate the amazing members you know by nominating them for an OSEA award. Awardees will be celebrated at Conference 2026 and long into the future!
