OSEA’s 87th annual Conference is Thursday-Saturday, June 26th-28th, in Portland, Ore.

Get Ready for Conference

Conference is OSEA’s most important event. Delegates representing our 138 chapters will debate and vote on resolutions, elect members to the Board of Directors and pass the annual budget.

As a member’s union, OSEA needs Conference delegates to represent the needs and interests of their chapter members. Participating in Conference ensures every member has a voice in our union.

You can shape our union for years to come:

Submit a resolution (PDF)
Any member can propose a change to OSEA’s governing documents (which determine how our union runs).

Run for OSEA office
Between Conferences, OSEA is led by members elected to the Board of Directors by Conference delegates.

Serve as a delegate
Delegates are elected to represent their chapter members at Conference.

Conference Scholarships

Scholarships help every chapter send at least one delegate to Conference, even if the chapter can’t cover the costs of travel and registration. Apply for a scholarship by June 1st for priority consideration.

Your chapter can help others participate in Conference by donating to the scholarship fund. This is a great way to show solidarity with chapters across the state, especially if their travel costs are higher.

What to Expect at Conference 2025
