Conference is OSEA’s most important event. Delegates representing our 140 chapters will gather to set the course for our union’s future.
As a member’s union, OSEA needs Conference delegates to represent the needs and interests of their chapter members. Participating in Conference ensures every member has a voice in our union.
You can shape our union for years to come:
Submit a Resolution
Any member can propose a change to OSEA’s governing documents (which determine how our union runs).
Conference Scholarships
Scholarships help every chapter send at least one delegate to Conference, even if the chapter can’t cover the costs of travel and registration. Apply for a scholarship by June 1st for priority consideration.
Apply for a scholarshipYour chapter can help others participate in Conference by donating to the scholarship fund. This is a great way to show solidarity with chapters across the state, especially if their travel costs are higher.

Conference is also an opportunity to recognize the members who keep our union strong. Nominate a chapter, member or ally for:
- Member of the Year (by March 15th)
- Newsy Award (by March 15th)
- Member Advocate (by March 1st)
- Lifetime Member (by March 1st)
- Honorary Member (by March 1st)
What to Expect at Conference 2025
