Zone Director Job Description

The duties of a zone director are as follows:

• Represent OSEA at the local, state and national levels, including State Board meetings, trainings,
workshops, conferences and other events as required or directed by the state president.
• Hold a minimum of one zone meeting per year.
• Communicate regularly with all chapter presidents in the zone.
• Be a liaison between state and members of your zone.
• Attend chapter meetings, events and functions within your zone.
• Install officers at the chapter level.
• Submit timely and accurate reports of zone expenditures.
• Read all Board materials and be prepared for Board meetings.
• Work in various partnerships.
• Work in unison with the ROSE Zone Retiree Coordinator.
