OSEA is governed by a Board of Directors, made up of the president, vice president, secretary and seven zone directors. The Board implements the decisions made by delegates at our annual Conference and guides the union throughout the year.
Board members are OSEA members elected by Conference delegates. Any OSEA member in good standing may run for a position on the Board. This year, delegates will elect members to serve as directors for Zones I, III, V and VII. Zone directors serve two-year terms.
Nominations for Board positions can be made any time before and during Conference 2023. Candidates who are nominated by March 1, 2023, will be invited to submit a photo and candidate statement for publication in the spring issue of the Journal.
