OSEA chapter presidents have a hard but essential job. They lead their chapters, support their members and juggle lots of responsibilities to keep our union strong. Now, chapter presidents are invited to join President Sarah Wofford for a monthly virtual meeting to support and learn from one another.
"Across the state, chapter leaders are finding innovative ways to organize, bargain, represent and build their chapters," said Wofford. "Union members know we can do more together than we ever could alone. As we kick off another school year and work to make OSEA even stronger and more effective, I want these meetings to support our chapter presidents with more collaboration, dialogue and mutual support."
Chapter president meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month from 4-5 p.m. over Zoom. The first meeting will take place on Thursday, Oct. 12. All chapter presidents are encouraged to attend as often as they are able! Watch for an email invitation coming soon.
