Form an OSEA Chapter

If you are an education worker who is not represented by a union, forming an OSEA chapter can improve your workplace and give you and your coworkers a voice on the job. Our union provides the best advocacy and representation to Oregon education employees. Workers in more than 130 school districts and other education programs have organized OSEA chapters to stand together for fair wages, benefits and working conditions.

You have the legal right to join, support and organize with OSEA.

While organizing a new union can be a challenging process, it is worth it! Union represented workers earn 11 percent more, on average, than our non-union peers. We also have more rights, a say in our compensation and working conditions and better protections from discrimination and unfair discipline.

OSEA will be with you at every step of the way. Our leaders and staff can guide you through the process and ensure your rights are protected and every turn. To get started, email Organizing Lead Elissa Edge.
